I read Demon Copperhead last summer and it was in my top books of the year! (The top 4 were Outlawed by Anna North, Draco Malfoy and The Mortifying Ordeal of Being In Love, The House in The Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune, and Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins.)
I read Station Eleven at the beginning of Covid, which was an interesting choice on my part, but nonetheless I really, really enjoyed it.
As the world's biggest baby when it comes to horror, The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires was an unexpected delight for me as well! I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is SUPERB.
Also, I just finished reading Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson (about a woman who helps a high school friend take care of her step-kids who literally catch on fire), and it's a great, quick read.
Station Eleven is always a favorite, but I think I liked Sea of Tranquility even more. Demon Copperhead was terrific, of course. Annihilation sounds great, so I'm putting that on my TBR! Haven't read Southern Bookclub yet, but I just finished Witchcraft for Wayward Girls.
Wasnt my favorite of his, but I liked it for the most part. It was different from what I was expecting. I've seen some criticism of it since reading and I can understand where it's coming from but overall I liked it.

I read Outlawed this month, as well as The House in The Cerulean Sea! Loved them both very much!
Reading Station Eleven at the beginning of Covid is wild!

Oh that sounds so good!

I really loved Sea of Tranquility also and depending on the day I like it better than Station Eleven!
How did you like Witchcraft for Wayward Girls?
