Reading: Crying in H-Mart by Michelle Zauner. If you haven’t read her piece for the New Yorker by the same name, you should do that now. And then order the book immediately.

Switching: Sinus meds. To Claritin from Zyrtec.

Watching: Last week Tucker and I watched Bridge of Spies, which is really good if you like slow movies about the cold war. 

Buying: Birthday presents. Happy hour frozen margaritas.

Go on any good dates? YES. I did. Tucker and I are both officially fully vaccinated and a few weeks out from our last shot. We went on our first date in the real world and ate at two restaurants back to back as a progressive dinner. OhK Dog for Korean rice-dogs and Snow Ball Rice Ball for fried chicken onigiri.

Writing: barely writing morning pages. 

Listening to: Light of a Clear Blue Morning by Waxahatchee, dedicated to my new friends from Take Heart, Jeni and Kali.

Taking Over: @bossbabesatx’s Instagram today to talk shop(ping).

Relaxing by: going on walks every day, recording the sounds of birds 

Streaming: The Session Live on IG by Christian James Hand. Each night he does a live concert where he plays the isolated recording tracks of the best songs ever made. Last night was Prince’s Let’s Go Crazy and Wendy was in the chat.

Promising: to trust in the alignment that’s shown itself to me.
